My First Poem - Tamil

I wrote my first poem at the age of 12 for a poem competition, off-course its in my regional language (Tamizh). People who don't understand tamizh, please spare me :D ....

Anbaenum sollil adangum ivulagam
Ivulagathin aathiyum anbae !
Ivulagathin anthamum anbae !!

Anbaenum jodhiyil vidiyum adhikaalaai
Adhikaalaaiyin oliyum anbae !
Adhikaalaaiyin sparisamum anbae !!

Anbaenum mozhiyil pesum ithayam
Ithayanthin thudippum anbae !
Ithayanthin anuvum anbae !!

Anbaenum karuvil vazhum uyir
Uyirin uruvam anbae !

Am back .. offcourse a longtime

After a lot of reluctance, i made up my mind to write my next blog (off-course after a big gap). Hopefully I will be posting regularly hereafter....

Kudremukh trek ...

Went to an amazing place called Kudremukh for trekking......

We were 6 of us (Y! collegues) who made made it to the trip. We started on friday night (6th Jan'06) from B'lore KSRTC bus-stand. We took a direct bus to kudremukh. Its an 8 hours journey from blore. Its in the north of Karnataka. (More info:: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kudremukh)

Though we hopped to trek through the thick forests of kudremukh, we were not allowed to, because of naxalite problems there. So we decided to freak around some other nearby places. One of our friends knew more about these places.

First we went to a waterfalls called Hanumakundi falls, some 10kms from the place where we got dropped by the KSTRC bus. Its on the way to a place called Kalasa. [ More Info:: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chikmagalur ]

Next we went to a temple called Annapurneshwari Temple @ Horanadu (14kms from the waterfalls) [ More Info:: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chikmagalur ]. We trekked through the road to reach the temple. They used to serve food throughout the day and throughout the year. The food was awesome. So after having that we can't resist having a small nap there in the calm & serene atmosphere. No one said a NO, because the place was so good & offcourse of the good food we had at the temple ... there we are ... dozing ...

Played tennis on sunday

Me & my friend amru went to play Lawn-Tennis on sunday morning ... We played at CV Raman Nagar tennis court ..... It was 8:00 AM when we reached there ... There were two courts ... Few others were playing some game there ... Both the courts were occupied .... so we pateintly waited for another 30 mins ... during which time amru teached me the basic steps involved in holding the racquet and actions involved.... Then later after some 30 mins ... one of the courts got cleared .... and the other players waved their hands that they have finished with it .... Then we got into the tennis court .... Amru strictly told that i shouldn't serve first ..... the very first step is to take some shots as given by amru to forehand .... and i'll have to take that in my forehand and give a easy full-swing shot to the other court .... this kind of practise went on for sometime .... then later i did the same to him .... After that he did some serves to me ... excellent serves .... i couldn't even touch them ... that fast serves .... all good ones.... Then he started to teach me the backhand in a very similar way as he did for forehand .... It was 10:00 AM by that time ... then he allowed me to serve to him ... i also did some very good serves to him at the first time itself ... but i was not at all consistent .... It was around 10:30 Am when we thought its time to leave .....

My friend got beaten UP for ALL the sins

My friend funda & my senior got beaten up by goons, for all the sins they have done so far.

..... Now i believe that GOD is there and still there are GOOD things happening in this material world .... What say funda ...???
